Finally, I got my PhD

Completing a PhD has been a challenging yet rewarding journey. In this blog post, I will share the key stages of my final phase.

Oral Examination (Mid-September):

Consisting of a 40-minute concise presentation and a 90-minute question-and-answer session, the viva provided an enlightening experience that enriched my understanding of the topic.

Minor Revision (Submitted in mid-October):

Following the viva, a minor modification process was undertaken. I refined my paper based on constructive feedback to ensure it met the academic standards.

Final Submission (December):

After a prolonged wait for defense committee and faculty review, the journey culminated in the final submission, marking the end of my PhD career.

After several years, the journey finally came to an end. I recently came across this sentence:

Not everyone is capable of doing a PhD.”

Sad but true.
